We can samba your team!
Imagine you and your friends or colleagues picking up a set of drums for the first time, and within an hour or two playing a piece of samba music together…
…well, imagine no longer, we can make that reality!
In addition to our open taster workshops, we offer custom workshops to companies, schools, colleges and other groups. Although samba is rich and complex, it’s actually built up from simple patterns woven together. This means that an experienced leader can take as little as a couple of hours to teach a samba piece to a group with no prior percussion, or musical experience!
Playing samba music together can be a memorable shared experience, and form the basis for a powerful teambuilding, energiser or wellbeing activity. Our workshops typically run for up to two hours including breaks, and cater for groups of 6-20 people. We provide the instruments and the tutors, you provide a room and the budding sambistas!
